Ways to Give
Regardless of the manner in which you choose to give, CT Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization, and your donations are tax deductible.
Giving to the CT Foundation can take many forms:
1. Checks can be mailed directly to the Foundation at:

2. State and Federal employees can authorize payroll deductions through the State Employee Charitable Campaign or the Central Texas Combined Federal Campaign;
3. You can establish monthly, quarterly or ongoing bank distributions to the Foundation online or at the above address;
4. Endowments can be facilitated through the Lutheran Foundation or another financial institution of your choosing;
5. You can designate the Foundation as a beneficiary on your life insurance or other investment accounts, with a stipulation as to how you wish the monies to be used by one of the programs administered by CT Foundation upon distribution; and/or
6. If you are a member of Thrivent Financial, you can designate Thrivent Choice Dollars to the CT Foundation
Thrivent Choice is a charitable grant program that gives eligible members of Thrivent Financial the ability to recommend where Thrivent Financial distributes some of its charitable funds each year by choosing from a list of thousands of enrolled 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, including the CT Foundation. The amount that eligible members can designate is based on insurance premiums, contract values and Thrivent volunteer leadership.
You can designate your Thrivent Choice dollars as follows:
- Online – Go to https://www.thrivent.com/making-a-difference/living-generously/thrivent-choice/ to sign in to your account, or to set up an account. Log in and click on “Direct Choice Dollars.” – Search the catalog of organizations – Locate “CT Foundation for Christian Education.” Check the box to direct all Choice Dollars to CT Foundation, or enter in an amount then click on “Direct Now.”
- By phone at 800-847-4836 – Say “Thrivent Choice” when prompted. Designations can be changed throughout the year.
