Schools
The CT Foundation for Christian Education was established with the goal of making it possible and affordable for students from all walks of life to have access to a high-quality, K-12 Christian education. Therefore, all of the schools supported with grants and scholarships by the Foundation must be fully accredited Christian schools operating in the greater Austin area. Schools engaged in Biblical Christian Education are eligible for support from the Foundation, based on the following criteria:
- Lutheran Schools operating in close association with a Lutheran Church or Church Body; or
- Faith-based schools that demonstrate adherence to a belief that:
- Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection for our sins is the only source of salvation;
- the Bible is the inspired word of God; and
- the Bible is the only source of inspired truth from God.
There are a number of schools in and around Austin that are currently qualified by the Foundation as eligible for this program. These schools currently include:
- Concordia High School (Pflugerville) – 9-12
- Faith Lutheran High School of Central Texas (Warda) – 9-12
- Redeemer Lutheran School (Austin) – K-8
- St. Paul Lutheran School (Thorndale) – K-8
- Zion Lutheran School (Walburg) – K-8
